Experiments With Photoshop - 'Whispers'

Playing around with scanned sketches on photo shop to create new images.

Here is the original pencil sketch of the girl character, I edited out the moon behind her and added a harlequin texture/pattern to match her stocking 

 

This is the original pencil sketch of the baby doe, I used this image twice in the collage and created a mirror of the second one, making it look slightly taller as if they were two different doe's.

I used a brown colour tint on my final image to give it a vintage feel, I also added a thin boarder in the same colour.

New Print - 'Winter Egg' in pencil and coloured on Photoshop

'Winter Egg' in pencil and coloured on Adobe Photoshop, I wanted the print to have a winters feel, I like the image of the girl carrying an egg, eggs are symbolic of new birth and she is holding the egg like a baby. The egg here is the new intentions for the coming year, the ongoing struggle to hatch those dreams in a a cold and icy world. The image was made using a vector brush of a snow flake the trees in the background image were also drawn with this snowflake brush tool only I coloured them forestry green.

Upcoming Winter Market At The Dock

Come along to the Winter Market at the Dock 2015 I will be having a little art and craft stall there this Saturday the 12th in Carrick-On-Shannon, Co. Leitrim.

Been sorting through my handmade art print Jewellery and getting organized for a couple of local Christmas craft markets. I will be doing one in Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim, the Winter Market at the Dock at The Dock Arts Centre on the 12th and one in Dowra Courthouse - Creative Space, Co. Cavan on the 13th. I'm doing both with some good friends in toe, so I am looking forward to it.
